Pastiglie Leone has been in business since 1857. Luigi Leone started the company in Alba before relocating it to Turin, where it went on to supply Italy's royal family. The candy itself has changed very little since then: small, delicate pastilles meant to melt on the tongue rather than be chewed. Tangerine sits alongside lemon and orange as one of the brand's original citrus pastilles.
