Perle di Sole is a family-run confectioner based on Italy's Amalfi Coast, where it has been making candy for more than seventy years. The company is credited with creating the first hard candy made using essential oil from lemons grown under the region's protected PGI designation, and it still sources its citrus from those same terraced hillsides. This lemon candy is the product that first put Perle di Sole on the map, and it remains the brand's signature item to this day.
