Mangini's Mint candy delivers a crisp, cooling flavor from real mint essential oil in a hard, flat candy. The mint is fairly intense, with less of the sugary sweetness that a lot of mint hard candy leans on. Each piece is individually wrapped and packaged in our signature cube box.
The company behind it, Mangini, has roots in Piedmont going back to the postwar years, though its modern form dates to 1981. It has kept to old-fashioned Italian candy making all along, sticking with simple recipes and traditional candy-making methods. Mint is one of the more straightforward flavors in the Mangini catalog, and the company has stuck with the same essential oil-based recipe for years. Mangini has kept the recipe largely unchanged since the company's postwar founding, resisting the urge to sweeten it further over the years.
